I just thought that I would put in a few pages about the town where I lived. Not too exciting, but here's some info that you might like to know.

This is "The Toll" as it was called back then. Robert Burns the famous scottish poet wrote a poem(click here) that might be hard for any un-scottish person to read.

It lies at the top of Ranoldcoup Road. But the gates have since been moved.

These are old pictures so you'll have to excuse the blurryness. This is the sqaure in Darvel. Hastings Square. In the middle is the war memorial(the greay pointy thing) honouring all those who gave there lives.

I like this street...wanna know why? if you look at the street, not the first building, not the big brown one and not the smaller one after that, but the one after that, it's my gran's house...
